The Presidency on Saturday said the current travails of Ibrahim Magu, the suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), is an indication that the fight against corruption under Muhammadu Buhari is real.
Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, said this in a statement titled: “Presidency’s statement on the suspension of Mr Ibrahim Magu.”
He said those who believe that the ongoing investigation of Magu is an indication of the regime’s failing anti-corruption fight have missed the point.
