The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Land Use and Development, Hon. Richard Otitoleke has congratulated His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on his latest intervention towards enhancement of emergency responses in the states, effectiveness of the legislative and judicial arms of government as well as other institutions of the government.
Recall that the governor had on Friday inaugurated Operational Vehicles comprising 30 State-of-the-Art referral Ambulances, Modern Firefighting Trucks, official vehicles for the State Assembly members and principal officers, Heads of the Judiciary, Heads of government establishments and others.
These are all geared towards the improvement of service in the confluence state in both critical arms of government, with the primary purpose of enhancing the general standard of living of Kogites.
In a statement on Saturday, Hon. Otitoleke said the governor has once again demonstrated that he truly cares about the welfare of the people of the state, especially with regards to improvement of health care delivery, effective representation at the state Assembly as well as administration on justice.
He said, “It is with utmost sense of pride that I salute the workaholic and indefatigable Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello (CON) on the wise investment towards carrying all arms of government along.
“The commissioning of 30 State-of-the-Art referral Ambulances, Modern Firefighting Trucks, official vehicles for the State Assembly members and principal officers and more signposts a diehard spirit to leave a legacy in our state for which generations to come will remember him.
“Never in our recent history have we had a governor with unflinching passion to redefine the business of governance. Coming at the tail end of his administration, one cannot but decipher that our dear state is lucky to have this charismatic personality our our leader”, he said.
He urged the benefitting agencies to make good use of the equipment to enhance services in the state for the overall benefit of indigenes and residents of the state.
