The Association of Market Women and Men of Nigeria, Lagos State chapter has endorsed the governorship candidate APC in the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a second term in office.
The market women and men said Sanwo-Olu has made life very liveable for them with modern infrastructure in their business premises as well as initiating friendly policies that have assisted them in conducting their daily activities.
Receiving members of APC National Special Intervention Committee for Sanwo-Olu’s re-election in Ikeja on Tuesday, the leader of market women in the state, Chief Mrs. Omobolanle Oluwole said they have endorsed Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat for a second term, urging all members across the state to vote APC in the governorship and state assembly elections.
This is according to a release signed by Amb. Seyi Bamigbade the sub-committee chairman on Media and Publicity.
Bamigbade said the chairman of the special intervention committee, Sen. Olorunnimbe Mamora who was represented by Hon Prince Sanya Oshijo thanked the market women and men for a warm reception, assuring that if re-elected, Sanwo-Olu will do more for them in terms of infrastructural development and access to loans to boost their businesses.
He urged them to come out in their high numbers to participate in voting exercise and vote for APC candidates in the Saturday’s elections across the state.
