Ahead of the Saturday’s governorship and state assembly elections in Lagos State, key APC leaders in the state and South West have continued in their efforts to galvanize support for the re-election of the party’s guber candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Leading the APC National Special Intervention Committee to local government tours on Monday, the Minister of Science and Technology, Sen. Olorunnimbe Mamora appealed to residents of the state to allow for the continuity of the urban transformation which Sanwo-Olu has embarked upon in the last four years by re-electing him into office on Saturday.
Speaking in Kosofe Local Government on Monday, the Minister noted that under Sanwo-Olu, Lagos is witnessing an aggressive infrastructural renewal, massive empowerment of the youths, provision of social amenities across board, increased investment in transportation services, which has improved the living standard of Lagosians. He appealed to them to vote Sanwo-Olu and all House of Assembly candidates of APC.
Also speaking, the sub-committee chairman on Media and Publicity of the National Special Intervention Committee, Amb. Seyi Bamigbade said Lagos is vital to the development of the country and should not be left in the hand of those not experienced to manage humans and resources.
According to him, the governor is building on the solid foundation laid by his predecessors to take Lagos to greater heights, emphasizing that detailing continuity could affect the development of the state.
In Amuwo odofin local Government, a former Minister of Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro urged Lagos residents to rewards the good gestures of the current administration by massively voting for Sanwo-Olu’s re-election on Saturday, saying it is an opportunity to continue to good work he has started since 2019 when he came on board.
A chieftain of APC, Hon. Ademola Adetokunbo He equally urged all Lagosians to come out in their large numbers to vote the governor all APC House of Assembly candidates for effective representation.
He expressed confidence that the second term of the administration in Lagos will open a fresh chapter in the developmental strides of Sanwo-Olu in Lagos.
