President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the sum of N683billion as the 2024 Intervention Funds for public tertiary education institutions in the country.
— Public Universities – 1.9bn each
—Public Polytechnics – 1.1bn each
—Public Colleges of Education 1.3bn each
It is important to note that this year’s intervention is significantly higher than 2023’s own which was capped at N320 billion.A reminder that the much awaited students loan initiative is expected to kick off later this month.
