A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta state, Pastor Hon. Anoroh Goddy has congratulated the governor-elect in the state, His Excellency Sherriff Oborevwon on his victory at the poll.
Pastor Hon. Anoroh who vied for PDP ticket to represent Isoko federal constituency of the state wished the governor-elect success in his new assignment.
He wrote:
Dear Sir,
LETTER OF CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR VICTORY AT THE POLLS
I write to extend my message of congratulations to Your Excellency on your victory at the just concluded governorship election in our dear state, Delta.
The good people of our dear state were loud and unequivocal on their choice of next governor and you have perfectly fitted into their choice.
Your emergence as governor-elect who will pick up the mantle of leadership from May 29 no doubt is an eloquent testimony to your personality and outstanding track record as a dexterous administrator and a leader with the interest of the people at heart.
This sweet victory is no doubt an opportunity to keep our dear state on the trajectory of continuity and build on the solid foundation laid by your predecessors.
Permit me to use this opportunity to express profound gratitude to His Excellency, Chief James Onanefe Ibori for laying a solid foundation upon which the current success stories in the state are built.
Special thanks also to the incumbent governor, His Excellency, Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa who fought tirelessly in ensuring that the will of the people prevails.
It is my hope and belief that your administration will enlarge the horizon of accelerated development for the overall benefit of the people of Delta State.
