APC Professionals Council Women Director, Soyombo To Speak At Progressive Young Leaders Summit

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, plans have been concluded for the hosting of the Young Progressive Summit which comes up Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Expected to speak at the event include, the Director of Women wing of APC Professionals Council and Special Adviser on Education to Ogun State government, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo, member representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency of Kano State, Hon. Ado Doguwa, Deputy Director General of APC Presidential Campaign Council and former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole and the Senior Special Special Assistant to the President on Social Investment, Hon. Ismail Ahmed.

Others include, former DG NPA, Hadiza Bala Usman, Special Adviser for Drainage and Water Resources to Lagos State government, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, S.A to the President on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, Commissioner for Finance, Kwara State Oyeyemi Olasumbo and APC Senatorial candidate for Kaduna Central, Muhammad Sani Dattijo and a host of other dignitaries.

The summit which holds at International Conference Centre Abuja has at the theme, “Agenda 2023: The Nigeria We Want”.

The event seeks to x-ray the preparation and readiness of the ruling party as the 2023 general elections draw nearer.

The APC Professionals Council led by the Director General, Dr. Seyi Bamigbade has been at the forefront in mobilising the support of millions of professionals across the country to support the presidential candidate of the party, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

Their candidacy has continued to elicit excitement and support of a vast majority of the Nigerian populace because of the massive leadership pedigree they both wield.

Few months ago, the women wing of APC Professionals Council under the visionary leadership of Mrs. Soyombo played host to women professionals and party stalwarts in Abuja, a gathering that raised the consciousness of women on the power they wield in the country’s political environment.
