As Nigeria joins other countries around the world to mark this year international workers day, the Kogi State governoship hopefull and candidate of Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) Hon. Elder Leke Abejide has assured Kogi workers of his readiness to prioritize the overall welfare of all workers in the state both in government and private sectors with policies that will better their lives, make work more conducive and thereby increase their productivity.
Hon. Abejide made this known through his media team to commemorate and celebrate with workers on the occasion of this year May 1st, 2023 workers day celebraton.
In his statement ” Workers all over the world are vital component that drives the smooth running of the government in achieving her social and economic growth and development”.
The performing lawmaker said that “he has mapped out certain welfare packages for the good and well being of the workers in Kogi State and will also promote policies that will better the lives of all workers for maximum cooperation between the goverment and workers of our state”
The leading Guber candidate of ADC in the forthcoming Kogi election expressed confidence that his government will key into the various Federal goverment initiatives of the incoming President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure Kogi workers are fully carried along in certain Federal goverment programs for optimum benefits.
