APC Professional Women Council, APC-PWC has concluded arrangements to hold a campaign tagged “Tidy Up Towns” in solidarity with the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima.
The campaign which comes up Friday, November 18, 2022 at 8am also seeks to raise awareness on the need for a sanitised environment across the country for the overall health benefit of all.
The organisers also said it symbolically seeks to sweep away all hindrances that may pose a challenge to the victory of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the country’s next president come 2023.
The exercise being spearheaded by the women wing of the ruling Party All Progressive Congress Professionals Council is expected to take place simultaneously nationwide.
Addressing the 36 state and FCT Coordinators of women wing of the council at a press conference on Thursday, the national coordinator of APC Professional Women Council, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo said the exercise has become necessary as a way of making our environments more habitable and healthy, a policy she said Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is deeply passionate about.
According to her, a clean environment will reduce chances of the people being infected with malaria which is usually carried by mosquito in dirty environments, urging all members of the council to support the exercise.
She said, “As we all know, our leader, principal and incoming president of Nigeria by the grace of God, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a man who is passionate about the health of Nigerians and she consistently demonstrated this during his tenure as the governor of Lagos state.
“And you all know that broom is our insignia of pride, we will make use of it that day to sweep the way clean for Asiwaju to majestically ascend to power. He is a man God has anointed for this job and no man can stop him in 2023.
“The ‘Tidy Up Towns’ will also raise awareness on how beneficial it is for us to keep our surroundings clean and sparkling tidy. Cleanliness is next to godliness. Let’s all join hands to carry out this patriotic assignment for our nation” Soyombo said.
The group has procured several sanitation kits to perform this exercise nationwide.
