The Professionals Council of the All Progressives Congress has congratulated Aarebirin Folashade Olatunji-Oba, the Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government on her inauguration as a member of the Tinubu-Shetima Presidential Campaign Team, and assured of her ability and acumen in task delivery.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Council Director-General, Hon. Seyi Bamgbade and published by the National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Fatai Abiodun painted Aarebirin Folashade’s selection as timely, maintaining that her giant strides as Vice-Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government and National Chairman of the Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria- Chairman of Chairmen, will further enhance the chance of the party winning.
While enjoining all-party stalwarts, stakeholders, and members of the Presidential team to work together with her, the council strongly posited that Folashade’s emergence in this critical political time was nothing but a winning trick.
Seyi Bamgbade expressed optimism that Aarebinrin Folashade’s emergence has shown that when a person is qualified enough for a job, their gender does not interfere with their performance.
In attendance at the inauguration are at least 1,250 women members of the APC from across the country, including the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.
Also at the event are the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu; his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; First Lady, Aisha Buhari; wives of the candidate and his running mate, Senator Remi Tinubu and Mrs. Nana Shettima.
