In a bid to contribute meaningfully to the re-election of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as Osun State Governor for 2nd term under the All Progressive Congress, the APC Professionals Council has appointed the Executive Chairman, Ifè Central Local Government Area, Hon. Elugbaju Olayera as Chairman House to House Campaign Team and the Council National Director for Youth and Students Affairs, Mr. Adebayo Adewale as the Secretary.
The Director-General of the All Progressive Professionals Council, Dr. Seyi Bamigbade has revealed that the commencement of the House-to-House voters’ Education and Sensitization program which will run from Wednesday, July 6 to Friday, July 15 in all the local government areas of Osun State is to bring Professionals participation into governance and to root for the continuity in governance for the sustenance of democratic values and achievements recorded under Oyetola’s led administration.
In a statement issued by the National Publicity of the Council, Mr. Fatai Abiodun on Saturday stated that the program aims to educate and enlighten potential voters on the need to vote right. He said only the candidacy of Gov. Isiaka Oyetola can bring the needed change the state is yearning for and not give their vote to an entertainer.
He posited that the role of governance in the developmental building should not be left in the hands of an amateur and a ‘dancer’ and that history would be kind to all for voting rights.
While admonishing the electorates’ participation in the electoral process stated for Saturday, July 16, he urged the populace to vote massively for Oyetola to continue the good work he’s doing.
Speaking further, Dr. Bamgbade also appealed to the appointees to see the assignment as a sacred duty and remember the populace about the achievements of Gov. Isiaka Oyetola within the last 3 years that their future is secured.
He explained that the only legacy any responsible government would leave behind for the future generation is the provision of qualitative and sound education, Security, and Economy diversification which the present administration is fully committed to.
