The Youth and Student Council of the All Progressive Congress has urged the Nigerian Youths and Students to be more united for the peace and development of our great nation and to shun any form of social vices.
In a statement published by the National Publicity Secretary, Fatai Abiodun signed by the Director-General of the APC support group, Mazi Ezenwa Onyirimba, and the National Secretary, Rukaiya Muhammad urged all Nigerians irrespective of their religion, ethnic, and political affiliations to tow the path of peace and development in the best of the society that the APC led government under the compassionate leader President Muhammadu Buhari will continue to remain resolute on its commitment for the peace and development of all sectors.
Mazi expressed great optimism that the New Year will usher new toga of peace and development, prayed to God to give all our leaders the inner peace that is required for rapid implementation of developmental policy.
While praying to God to continue to protect and guard President Muhammadu Buhari, the support group pass vote of confidence on the party caretaker committee headed by His Excellency Mai Mala Buni and urged all party stakeholders to embrace peace as the party go for the national convention this year.
“Furthermore, as a party’s support group founded solely to consolidate on the gains of the governance being put in place by the Party and to help in strengthening the party by galvanizing the teeming youths and students on the progressive agenda of the Mr. President, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari.
“While calling on all party stakeholders and members to ignore the beer-parlor assertion on Mai Mala Buni, we express our unalloyed support to the current leadership of the party and express absolute confidence in the Party’s ability to conduct a free and acceptable National convention being slated for February 2022 in preparation to the forthcoming General elections.” Parts of the statement read.
