The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Land Use and Development, Hon. Richard Otitoleke has congratulated the state governor-elect, Alhaji Usman Ododo on his victory at polls.
Hon. Otitoleke said the incoming governor’s victory was divinely ordained and legitimised by the people of Kogi at the off-cycle election in the state on Saturday, November 11.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, the governor’s aide while thanking the people of Kogi for the massive support to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate noted that it is a demonstration of confidence on the administration Gov. Yahaya Bello.
While expressing confidence that the choice of Ododo will enlarge the frontiers of development in the state and consolidate of the achievements of Gov. Bello, he urged the people of the state support the governor as he is poised to finish strong and handover a better state to his successor.
He said, “The victory of His Excellency, Usman Ododo at the poll is a clear manifestation that the government of APC has met the yearnings of the good people of Kogi under the leadership of His Excellency, Yahaya Adoza Bello.
“It is a confidence vote that governor Yahaya Bello has been vindicated”
“I have no doubt that the incoming governor Ododo will enlarge the legacy being put in place by the administration of governor Bello and will roll out policies and programmes that will improve the economy and people of our dear state”, he stated.
