A former Commissioner of Police in Lagos State CP Hakeem Odumosu (Rtd) has said the state under the leadership of governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is in safe hand, calling on residents to return him as their governor in the March 18 governorship and state assembly elections in the state.

Odumosu, who is the Chairman Security sub-committee of the APC National Special Intervention Committee for re-election of Sanwo-Olu said the governor has diligently delivered his mandate and birth a new Lagos since he took over power as the number one person in Nigeria’s commercial capital.

Speaking in Alausa Lagos with leaders of co-operative societies in the area, Odumosu said the state is one of the most infrastructurally developed and largely peaceful, attributing it to the strategic leadership, a release signed on Tuesday by the media and publicity chairman of the committee, Amb. Seyi Bamigbade said.

Bamigbade quoted Odumosu as saying, “Lagos is increasingly becoming one of the fasted developing cities not only in Africa but the world in general. This is the product of strategic leadership which has been put in place by Gov. Sanwo-Olu.

“The aggressive urban renewal, the security of lives and property, the state-of-the-art facilities in entertainment, sport, transportation and more are glaring indices of a government that functions. It will be in our overall good as Lagosians to support the path of continuity than uncertainty when we vote those without the needed experience to lead our state”, the statement added.
