As the presidential campaign gets underway, the leadership of APC Professionals Council has called on all members of the party to be ambassadors of the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima in order to make the Tinubu-Shettima Mandate a reality in 2023.
The National Director General of the council, Hon. Seyi Bamigbade made the call at the weekend in Adamawa during the flag off of the council’s empowerment scheme targeted at artisans and professionals with Tuition Free Scholarship.
The scheme is part of the council’s nationwide project to empower 180,000 Nigerians with means of livelihood and access to economic activities.
Beneficiaries are to be trained in various vocational areas, including ICT, catering, interior decoration and event planning, plumbing and others.
They are also to be assisted with start-up capitals for self-reliance and also to be employers of labour.
According to Hon. Bamigbade, Nigerians are eagerly waiting for the emergence of Tinubu and Shettima to pilot the affairs of the country and lead Nigeria to greatness.
He therefore called on all members of APC to continue campaigning for Tinubu, saying a new Nigeria is possible with the new vision which the Lagos former governor will bring into governance.
High point of the event was the reception of PDP decampees, numbering over 7,500 into the APC fold.
