A foremost political support group, Tinubu-Ambode Support Group says it welcomes the nation’s First Lady, Her Excellency, Oluremi Tinubu to Lagos as she embarks on a visit to the state this weekend.
The First Lady’s visit will be commemorated with distribution of empowerment items to 1,000 women in the state at the State House, Alausa on Saturday as well as inauguration of Lagos Industrial Leather Hub in Matori, Mushin.
Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, the DG of Tinubu-Ambode Support Group, a group campaigning for return of the President, Bola Tinubu and Akinwumi Ambode as governor of Lagos State in the 2027 general elections in a statement on Friday said members of the group will come out in their large numbers to welcome the First Lady.
Dr. Bamigbade extolled the First Lady for her thoughtfulness in coming up with the projects which he said will go a long way in granting women access to economic opportunities and improving their standards of living.
He said the empowerment project is reminder of how much the First Lady has impacted humanity through her New Era Foundation over the years, commending her for being a mother for all.
According to him, the First Lady’s visit will be a turning point in industrial and economic hub of Lagos State, urging residents to accord her the needed hospitality she deserves and for which Lagos is known.
