Otunba Niyi Olayemi, the Kabba-Bunu Campaign Director General of APC Governorship Candidate in Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo has hailed the legacy projects of Gov. Yahaya Bello in Kabba/Bunu local government, describing them as indication of visionary leadership of APC.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the campaign chief called on the people of Kabba/Bunu to give Ododo massive support, saying they will gain more under his leadership in the state.
The people of Kogi will next week Saturday file out in their large numbers to vote for next Governor of the state, in an election where Ododo has been projected to enjoy massive support in the three Senatorial Districts of the state.
He said, “The APC Government led by Gov. Yahaya Bello was able to deliver these underlisted legacy Projects within 7years of his tenure. Let’s ask ourselves, what can PDP point as achievement in all the gogoro years spent as ruling party in Kogi?”.
He listed the projects to include,
1. Completion of Kano Road, Kabba, and
2. Construction of the Kano road bridge which has been abandoned for years
2. Completion of Owode Maternity Road, Kabba
4. Completion of Orita Opolo to Anglican Road, Kabba
5. Completion of Cathedral/Barnabas Junction to St Joseph Road.
6. Installation of Solar Street lighting on all roads in Kabba
7. Renovation of all Primary Schools and additional blocks of Classrooms in Kabba
8. Establishment of Kogi State University, Kabba
9. Completion of GYB Model School, Okebukun
10. Renovation of Government Secondary School, Iluke
11. Upgrading of all Community Obas to the different staff of Office across the Kabba-Bunnu.
“We can only reciprocate this good gesture by voting the APC candidate Alhaji Ododo so as to have a continuum of development and by extension, aligning our own community into the in the party at the center and in the state”, he added.
