Her Excellency, Mrs. Shirley Poge Sam-Ode, wife of the Deputy Governor of Benue state has congratulated the founder of Ayisat Gbajabiamila Foundation, Ayisat Gbajabiamila on her birthday anniversary, describing her a true humanitarian.
She applauded Gbajabiamila for her large heart towards the less privileged in the society, saying she has demonstrated true spirit of motherhood.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, wife of the Deputy Governor who is also the matron of Ayisat Gbajabiamila Foundation noted that Gbajabiamila is a fulfilled professional who as a medical worker with several years of experience has impacted lives not only in Nigeria but beyond.
She further noted that Ayisat Gbajabiamila has been at the forefront in driving the economic, social and political inclusion of women in the country, adding that she has inspired many through her dogged spirit.
According to the Deputy Governor’s wife, “I’m a happy to identify with a personality like Ayisat Gbajabiamila. She is a perfect definition of humanity who through her work as a medical worker has advanced the welfare of her community.
“She has taken the campaign for political awareness far and wide, campaigning for women to have a space in the governance structure of our country.
“Her numerous contributions in the political space, especially in giving women a voice is well noted and appreciated. I therefore join numerous friends and associates in wishing this wonderful seed a happy birthday”, she said.
The Deputy Governor’s wife therefore prayed for God’s protection and blessings upon the celebrant.
