A renowned pharmacist, philanthropist and the founder, Ayisat Gbajabiamila Foundation, Hon. Dr. Ayisat Gbajabiamila has bagged award of excellence in Leadership and Humanitarian Services.
She joined the list of eminent Nigerians and friends of Nigeria who were honoured on September 3 in Lagos at the prestigious Nigeria Achievers Award 2023.
The award is designed to celebrate excellence and innovation across various sectors. It is also seen as medium of celebrating great achievements; professionals, talents, respectable personalities and corporate bodies who are role models in their diverse areas of human endeavour, especially those who have made positive impact on Nigerian youths and the populace at large, thus contributing positively to the Nation’s economy and growth
It had in attendance prominent personalities, creative minds, and visionaries from across the country.
The 2023 edition which is 9th in the series was supported through partnerships with the University of Benin Cotonou and Prowess University Delaware USA, as well as ECOWAS Leadership conferment in honoring and recognizing distinguished personalities and institutions that have contributed greatly to the development and sustainability of the Nation’s Economy and growth.
The convener and director of the award; Princess Joy Osusu while congratulating the award recipients said her organisation will be at the forefront in celebrating impact as well as encouraging more creativity and positive energy in the country.
Hon. Ayisat Gbajabiamila has for several years embarked on humanitarian gestures in major cities of the country in an effort to touch lives.
She has among other things offered skills for women empowerment, students’ scholarship, free medical care, among others.
Represented at the event by Barr. Oladipupo Ajayi, she expressed gratitude to the organisers of the award for finding her worthy of the honour and assured that she will continue to give her all towards the development of the country.
