The International Human Rights Protection Service (IHRPS) has appointed renowned women rights advocate and UK-trained pharmacist, Ayisat Bolanle Gbajabiamila as the Zonal Director of the organisation in South West Nigeria.
The President of the IHRPS in Nigeria’s office, Dr. Charles Omini at a brief ceremony in Abuja recently officially handed her over the letter of appointment dated, 16th June, 2023.
She is to work under the office of the Special Adviser to the President on Women Affairs, Hon. Evangelist Ladi Shuaib-Joseph.
The letter with the title, “CONFIRMATION OF APPOINTMENT” was personally signed by the President himself.
The letter read in part, “I am pleased to convey to you, confirmation of your appointment as South West Zonal Director on Women Affairs.
“You are to advise and coordinate all related South West Women Affairs directly with the office of the Special Adviser on Women Affairs to President.
“This appointment is voluntarily and sutbject to review.
“You are to abide by the rules and regulations and Code of Conducts governing the Organization.”
Hon. Ayisat Gbajabiamila who has been at the forefront in promoting women’s course over the years.
She is the founder of Female in Leadership and Empowerment (FILAE), a non-governmental organisation where she sits as the president.
The aim of this group is to harness the potentials of women in order to advance the frontiers of women inclusion as well as good leadership in the country.
