A chieftain of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), and the Director General Ayisat Gbajabiamila Foundation, Hon. Ayisat Gbajabiamila has congratulated a former governor of Benue State, Sen. George Akume and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila on their appointments as Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chief of Staff to the President respectively.
Hon. Ayisat said the appointment of the duo by President Bola Tinubu are well-deserved, saying it is the wish of God.
In a congratulatory message on Sunday, she said both appointees have distinguished themselves while serving the country in various capacities, which has been acknowledged by President Tinubu who found them worthy to occupy the two strategic offices.
She said, “The vision, probity, and legislative prowess of both leaders have been instrumental in driving positive change and advancing the interests of our great nation.
“As former governor of Benue State and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sen. Akume and Hon. Gbajabiamila have inspiring examples of leadership, guiding others to achieve remarkable milestones.
“As they assume duties as Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chief of Staff to the President respectively, I have no doubt that they will bring the same level of dedication, integrity, and astute decision-making to their new roles, forging meaningful partnerships that will shape policies and drive progress at the highest level of government”.
Meanwhile, some groups have made case for reward system for key loyalists of APC, including Hon. Ayisat who have through dedication and commitment given their all in ensuring victory for APC.
Hon Hajia Ayisat Gbajabiamila, who is a consultant Pharmacist had left her family, her job and her career in UK and flew to Nigeria to fight for betterment of the country Nigeria by supporting the election of Tinubu as the President.
She is also the president and founder of Ayisat Gbajabiamila Foundation (FILAE We Fly).
People like her ought to be rewarded with appointment, as she has demonstrated character, capacity, and competence to lead.
