Khalifa Abubakar Foundation donates classrooms blocks for FCT, names after Minister of Finance Shamsuna Ahmed

One of the leading Non-Governmental Organizations, Khalifa Abubakar Foundation has donated 8 blocks of classrooms and four toilets for the good people and students of Government Secondary School, Kuchigoro, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja in honour of the Hon. Minister of Finance, Hajia Shamsuna Ahmed.

The historic commissioning of the classrooms was held on Saturday 6th May 2023 at the School premises and the event was graced by the Hon. Ministers of Finance and Women Affairs, Captains of Industry, Top Government official, Traditional rulers, FCT Education Stakeholders, Students, friends and well-wishers.

The Foundation Chairperson, Barrister Lami Abubakar said the project is a show of the foundation’s desire to contribute modestly to the continued growth and progress of the coming generation because an investment in Education is an investment towards the nation’s building.

She expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness, Igwe Umeh and several other personalities that contributed to making the vision of the foundation and the project a reality, and expressed optimism that history will be kind to all.

The Khalifa Abubakar Foundation was founded Two decades ago by Barrister Lami Abubakar. The Foundation is into humanitarian services for the benefit of the common man and humanity.

The foundation has carried out School Feeding Program for students in Okene, Kano, Zaria, Niger and Maiduguri, and Several Classroom projects, Scholarship Awards, Hospital Outreach and Bill payment.

 

The Traditional Ruler of Kuchigoro expressed joy over the project and commended the giant stride of the Hon. Minister of Finance, Hajia Shamsuna Ahmed for her stride in the development of the nation building.

The Traditional ruler also conferred a title on the Khalifa Abubakar Foundation, Bar. Lami Abubakar in appreciation of her effort to bring education closer to the people of the community.
