The APC Professionals Council, APC PC has dismissed media reports alleging that the Kogi state governor has withdrawn his support for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress APC over a disagreement with the Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. James Faleke, saying there is no truth in such.
There was a media report on Sunday that Bello, the youth coordinator of the Presidential Campaign Council has withdrawn his support, a speculation APC Professionals Council says is false and bare-faced lie.
In a statement on Sunday, the National Director General of the Council, Amb. Seyi Bamigbade, at the flag off of National House to House Campaign for all the All Progressive Congress Candidates, he described Gov. Yahaya Bello and Hon. Faleke as key figures that will work towards the emergence of Tinubu as the country’s president in the February election.
He called on members of APC PC to ignore the report and focus on working for the victory of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, adding that Tinubu’s presidency will usher in prosperity and progress for all Nigerians.
“The recent report about a quarrel between Gov. Bello and Hon. Faleke is a handiwork of people who do not wish our nation well. It is false and a concoction of the author’s imagination.
“It was designed by the weak opposition craving for a shadow of relevance. Nigerians have severally rejected them and will reject them in the upcoming polls.
“Gov. Yahaya Bello and Hon. James Faleke will be part of this historic moment in our national history.
“Asiwaju is prepared and ready to lead our country to all-time greater heights and our dear patriots are eagerly waiting for this new dawn” he said.
