A chieftain on the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Delta state, Pastor Hon Anoro Goddy has congratulated the people of the state and Isoko community in particular at the occasion of Christmas celebration, saying it is a period for sober reflection and opportunity to reflect on relationship with God.
He said the period presents Christians opportunity to embrace the exemplary life of Jesus Christ and teachings of the holy bible in their daily endeavours.
In a goodwill message on Sunday, the man of God admonished Nigerians to demonstrate love, piety, patriotism, forgiveness, brotherhood and selflessness in their pursuits, adding that the country is better off if people imbibe the tenets of love and sacrifice.
He encouraged the people of Isoko and Delta in general not to relent efforts in the quest for a more egalitarian Nigerian society, urging them to continue to imbibe the virtues of honesty, truth and hard work.
He urged leaders across board to works assiduously for the country’s unity and peaceful co-existence, insisting that justice for all is the way to get the country united in other to move the country forward.
He also drummed support for the candidates of PDP across board as the 2023 general elections draw nearer.
He also called for prayers for restoration of peace and security in all parts of the country.
