The Council Mayor of Amuwo Odofin LGA, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh was on Thursday December 21st, 2022 decorated as the Director General of APC Professionals Council Campaign Directorate in the South West region of Nigeria.
The event was the inauguration of the South West Campaign Council by the National Director General of APC Professionals Council, Amb. Seyi Bamigbade which was held at the Constituency Office of Prince Lanre A. Sanusi in FESTAC, Amuwo Odofin.
They are to ensure victory for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other candidates of the party in the upcoming elections.
Amb. Bamgbade ably represented by Dr. (Mrs) Olumegbon was in Amuwo-Odofin local government to officially give credence to the executives of the group’s chapter in Amuwo-Odofin.
The event which had in attendance the Executive Chairman, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, the candidates of the party, Prince Lanre Sanusi and Hon. Folorunsho Ola Western took place at the campaign office of Prince Lanre Sanusi producing Hon. Rasheed Olateju as the Chairman.
Prince Lanre A. Sanusi popularly called PLS eulogized the Council Boss calling him a “worthy ambassador ” capable of delivering in his new assignment.
PLS said he choose to identify with the activities of APC Professionals because as a professional himself “the Council seeks to address the challenges of harnessing the knowledge, experience, exposure and creativity of Nigerian professionals and bring to bear in politics, political processes and democratic governance”
The Executive Chairman on his own part charged the executives to be responsible and proactive in the execution of their duties and take the gospel of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for President to the nooks and crannies of workplaces across Amuwo-Odofin and Oriade LCDA respectively.

It was established in the year 2019 to create a virile platform for inclusive participation in politics, governance and decision making processes of Nigerian professionals.
The forum seeks to create enabling environment for Nigerian professionals to contribute significantly to nation building, capacity building, national development, policy advocacy, grassroots mobilization, and initiating ground-breaking innovation in addressing the contemporary development challenges.

APC Professionals Council on thursday inaugurated the South West campaign council with the appointment of the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government area, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh as the campaign Director General of the Council in the region along with members to work with him.
Speaking at the event in FESTAC Lagos, the National Director General of APC Professionals Council, Amb. Seyi Bamigbade expressed gratitude for the activities members of the council have continued to embark upon in the South West and Lagos in particular to ensure the emergence of APC candidates in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

Bamgbade stressed that the vision of the Council is to strengthening political activism, advocacy, support group for mobilization of Nigerian professionals on political and development processes for inclusive, robust, and sustainable democratic governance.
Represented by the All Progressive Congress Professionals council National Director in charge of Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Dr. Abimbola Olumegbon, Amb. Bamigbade said the inauguration of the campaign Directorates is the beginning of a long journey to ensure the election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the President of Nigeria next year, the re-election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Lagos State governor as well as other APC candidates across board.
“Our mission is to create enabling environment and support system to bridge the wide gap in involvement of Nigerian professionals in development process, policy formulation, political mentorship, and grassroots mobilization, robust engagement to foster democratic dividend and democratic governance”, Bamgbade said.
