APC Professionals Council on Thursday inaugurated the South West campaign council with the appointment of the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government area, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh as the campaign Director General of the Council in the region along with members to work with him.
Speaking at the event on Thursday in Lagos, the National Director General of APC Professionals Council, Amb. Seyi Bamigbade expressed gratitude for the jobs members of the council have continued to do in South West and Lagos in particular to ensure the emergence of APC candidates in the upcoming 2023 general elections.
Represented by the All Progressive Congress Professionals council National Director in charge of Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Dr. Abimbola Olumegbon, Amb. Bamigbade said the inauguration of the campaign Directorates is the beginning of a long journey to ensure the election of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the President of Nigeria next year, the re-election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Lagos State governor as well as other APC candidates across board.
He said the 2023 presents members of the council opportunity to be part of a moving train to consolidate on the achievements of the APC-led federal government by ensuring that Tinubu emerges the President in the February 25, 2023 presidential election.
He charged the newly inaugurated campaign executives to discharge their duties diligently and carry all members along so as to foster harmony and unity among them.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman, Amuwo Odofin local government area and the Director General of South West Campaign Directorate of APC Professionals Council, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh thanked the Council under the leadership of Amb. Seyi Bamigbade for finding him worthy of assignment.
He pledged commitment to ensure that APC records a clean sweep in South West in 2023 saying the election of Tinubu as the country’s president next year will be a good thing for the country’s economic and social growth.
Also speaking, Barr. Ajayi Oladipupo who is the Director Lagos State campaign council said the state is a stronghold of APC and that the party will consolidate on its excellent track record of good performance to deliver all its candidates.
The event had top dignitaries of the party from across Lagos State in attendance, including Prince Lanre Sanusi, Hon. Folorunsho Ola, Hon. Rasheed Olateju and many others.
High point of the event was the induction of Engr. Valentine Buraimoh as the Director General of the campaign Directorate of the Council in South western region of Nigeria.
