The Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa and the APC Professionals Council have reached a partnership deal with on house-to-house campaign in Lagos State.
The campaign which flagged off on Monday at the Lagos State Speaker Constituency office in Orile Agege Local Council Area seeks to promote the candidacy of the presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, governorship candidate of the party in Lagos State, His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu, candidate of Orile-Agege State Constituency, Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa and all senatorial candidates of the party in the three senatorial districts of the state.
Speaking at the flag-off exercise at the Speaker’s constituency office, the Director General of APC Professionals Council, Hon. Seyi Bamigbade, expressed gratitude to the Speaker for the endorsement, saying it is a right move to totally shut out opposition in the state.
He expressed the readiness of the council, in collaboration with the leadership of APC in the state to ensure a clean sweep of victory from presidential down to local government election.
The Speaker who was at the flag-off ceremony was represented by his chief of staff who expressed happiness to work with the council in sensitising Lagosians on the giant strides of APC administration in the state.
He applauded the council for its laudable programmes and activities geared not only towards promoting political awareness but to empower people and give them access to decent livelihood.
Also in his remarks, the Lagos state director of the APC Professionals Council, Barrister Oladipupo Ajayi (esq), said the house-to-houses campaign will cover all the local government areas and LCDA’s, noting that the team’s job will be easy especially with the legacy of performance the APC has set in the state.
