February 23, (EQUITYNEWS) – President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday received President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana on a courtesy visit at the State House, Abuja.
The President received Akufo-Addo when he stepped out of his car at the State House, from where they engaged in a private meeting.
Although, the agenda of the meeting was not made public, EQUITYNEWS gathered that the two leaders discussed some sub-regional issues bordering on security and socio-political developments in ECOWAS member states.
The Ghanaian president is the chairman of the Economic Community of West African State (ECOWAS).
There have been lots of military coups in West Africa lately, a thing which has been of immense concern to the sub-region.
