The Hon. President of the National Industrial Court, Hon. Justice Benedict Kanyip, PhD, FNIALS joined thousands of well-wishers and members of the general public today Saturday 22nd January 2022 at the Emir Palace, Kofar Soro, Katsina, Katsina State to witness the historic coronation ceremony of Senator Abba Ali as the new Turakin Katsina.
Katsina is the state capital of Katsina State in the North-Western geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Katsina State was created in 1987, and is located some 260 kilometers (160 mi) east of the city of Sokoto and 135 kilometers (84 mi) northwest of Kano, and close to the border with the Niger Republic.

The Home of Hospitality which is about 30 kilometers from Kano city, houses business people, academics, technocrats; and also hosts State and Federal institutions and parastatals.
The former Senator and a member of the Federal Judicial Service Commission, Senator Abba Ali was turbaned as Turakin Katsina by the Emir of Katsina and Chairman Katsina State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness, Alh. (Dr) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman CFR.
The President of the Industrial Court, Hon. Justice Benedict Kanyip was eminently represented by the presiding Judge of the Calabar Judicial Division, Hon. Justice Sanusi Kado.
