The Youth and Student Council of the All Progressive Congress has commended the party stakeholders, stalwarts and members across the federation for the successful conduct of its local government congress that was held yesterday Saturday 4th September 2021.
In a statement signed by its Director General, Mazi Enzenwa Onyirima and the published by the Publicity Secretary, Fatai Abiodun, the support group said the outcome of the elections signifies the acceptability of the party faithful to pursue a uniform goal of togetherness, and the readiness of all party members to work collectively in securing victory for the party ahead of the 2023 election.
Expressing further, the support group also pleaded with the winners to be magnanimous with victory and ensure that there is no loser by reaching out to others in the interest of peace and tranquility.
“The Apc Youth and Student Council As a party’s support group founded solely to consolidate on the gains of the governance being put in place by the Party and to help in strengthening the party by galvanizing the teeming youths and students on the progressive agenda of the Mr President, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari; we seek for continued peace among all the party stakeholders, chieftains and members.
“While calling on any ‘aggrieved’ party members to tailor their grievances in line with the party laid down principles of settling dispute rather than recourse to the court.
“We have absolute confidence in the Party’s ability to resolve all her differences with the robust internal democratic machinery embedded in the Party’s constitution and extant laws.”
