Liverpool winger, Mohammed Salah has tested positive for COVID-19, as confirmed by the Egyptian FA while he was on Egypt International duty.
Equity News understands that Salah will be the third player in Liverpool’s first team while he will be the fifth player to be absent in the coming weeks after Trent Alexandre Arnold, Joe Gomez, Van Dijk, Fabinho.
The announcement will add to the list of worries of Jurgen Klopp as his team grows thin with days.
The Egyptian FA said on Twitter Salah had returned a positive test, although the 28-year-old is not showing any symptoms.

The governing body added that the rest of the Egyptian national team were negative for coronavirus, while Salah is now self-isolating and will be “subject to more checks in the coming hours”.
Egypt hosts Togo on Saturday in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier before playing the reverse fixture on Tuesday.
Liverpool is next in action against Leicester on November 21, a match Salah would miss under current UK Government guidelines despite being asymptomatic.
