The Lagos State Government (LASG) has approved the reopening of private and public schools in the state.
Equity News earlier reported that Lagos schools were directed to close down on October 19, 2020, due to the rising tension caused by the #EndSARS protests.
In a statement on Thursday titled, ‘LASG approves reopening of schools from Monday’, the Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo, said that schools have been approved to reopen starting from Monday, November 2, 2020.
The statement read in part, “The Lagos State Government has approved the re-opening of schools for all classes in public and private schools across the State beginning from Monday, 2nd of November, 2020 while boarders in public schools are to resume on Sunday, 1st of the same month.”
