It will be recalled that the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway has been in the news for years over the neglect of the road and how the road was totally unmotorable coupled with the fact that trailer, tankers ply this road often. Well, it seems the once dreaded road may be having a make-over as being reported by equity news
It will be recalled that the reconstruction of Apapa-Oshodi Expressway was started by Dangote Group, under the Road Infrastructure Development & Refurbishment Investment Tax Credit Scheme aka Executive Order 007 signed by Pres. Buhari in January 2019 (Dangote awarded the contract to Hitech). The road construction is said to take 24 months to finish.
For those familiar with the Apapa-Wharf road, it will be recalled that Dangote Group and some industries teamed up together to reconstruct the Apapa-Wharf Road citing the ta relief reforms.
