The All Progressives Congress (APC) Media Team Ganye branch has said that Senator Grace Bent’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All progressives Congress is a welcome development.
Reacting, the group in a statement issued by its branch PRO, Abubakar Goga Anfield, on Friday said that Senator Grace Jackson Bent vision, determination and political will to effect the livelihood of the people of Adamawa South was evidently manifested during her tenure in the Red Chamber that her defection will no doubt strengthen the chances of All Progressive Congress in Adamawa State and Nigeria as a whole.
He further stated that the former Senator remains the symbol of peace and unity, with political dynasty that cuts across all religions and different tribes.
Goga said Adamawa South Youths under the umbrella of APC Media Team Ganye branch wholeheartedly welcome Senator Grace Jackson Bent to All Progressive Congress and promise to support her in whatever office she intends to vie for.
He said, “Sen. Bent’s defection from the tyrannical PDP to the Progressives APC family is an attestation to the transformation initiatives of the current APC-led administration’s impacts on the socio-economic wellbeing of Nigerians,”
